Donnie Stone (Edward Donald Stone) was born on January 5, 1937 in Sioux City, Iowa. After going to high school at Fayetteville (AR), Stone attended the University of Arkansas. Stone made his professional debut in the AFL in 1961 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos, Houston Oilers and Buffalo Bills over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1961 was Donnie Stone's best year, as he ran for 505 yards, ran in 4 TDs, hauled in 38 receptions and caught 4 TD passes.
