Donnie Shell (Donnie Shell) was born on August 26, 1952 in Whitmire, South Carolina. After going to high school at Whitmire (SC), Shell attended South Carolina State University. Shell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 14 year career.
Most people believe that 1984 was Donnie Shell's best year, as he picked off 7 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
