Donnie Hill (Donald Earl Hill) was born on November 12, 1960 in Pomona, California. He made his Major League debut on July 25, 1983 for the Oakland Athletics. In 1983, his rookie year, he hit .266 with 2 home runs and 15 RBI. Hill played for the Oakland Athletics, Chicago White Sox, California Angels and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Donnie Hill's best season was 1985, when he hit for a .285 average.
