Donnie Green (Donnie Gerald Green) was born on July 12, 1948 in Washington, District Of Columbia. After going to high school at Crestwood (Chesapeake, VA), Green attended Purdue University. Green made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1974 was Donnie Green's best year.
