Donaldo Mendez (Donaldo Alfonso Mendez) was born on June 7, 1978 in Barquisimeto, Lara (Venezuela). He made his Major League debut on April 5, 2001 for the San Diego Padres. Mendez played for the San Diego Padres for his entire 2 year career.
