Don Wengert

Born on November 6, 1969 in Sioux City, Iowa, Don Wengert (Donald Paul Wengert) played for the Oakland Athletics, San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs, Kansas City Royals, Atlanta Braves and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 7 year career. Wengert broke into the bigs on April 30, 1995 with the Oakland Athletics, and put up a 5.58 ERA in 161.1 innings pitched in 1996, his rookie year.
