Don Wemple (Donald L. Wemple) was born on October 14, 1917 in Gloversville, New York. Wemple attended Colgate University. Wemple made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
