Don Thorp (Donald Kevin Thorp) was born on July 10, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Buffalo Grove (IL), Thorp attended the University of Illinois. Thorp made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1987 was Don Thorp's best year.
