Don Stevens (Donald James Stevens) was born on May 25, 1928 in Massillon, Ohio. After going to high school at Youngstown (OH), Stevens attended the University of Illinois. Stevens made his professional debut in the NFL in 1952 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1952 was Don Stevens's best year, as he ran back a punt for a touchdown and had 433 kick return yards.
