Don Simensen (Donald Roy Simensen) was born on September 11, 1926 in Minot, North Dakota. After going to high school at Central (St. Paul, MN), Simensen attended the University of St. Thomas. Simensen made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1951 was Don Simensen's best year.
