Don Shackleford (Donald Vernon Shackleford) was born on February 18, 1943 in Wichita Falls, Texas. After going to high school at Tulare (CA), Shackleford attended the University of Pacific. Shackleford made his professional debut in the AFL in 1964 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 1 year career.
