Don Rhodes (Donald Nelson Rhodes) was born on July 9, 1909. After going to high school at Allentown Prep (Allentown, PA), Rhodes attended Washington & Jefferson College. Rhodes made his professional debut in the NFL in 1933 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career.
