Don Pumphrey (Donald Anson Pumphrey) was born on November 22, 1963 in Tallahassee, Florida. After going to high school at Lincoln (Tallahassee, FL), Pumphrey attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and Valdosta State Universtiy. Pumphrey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 1 year career.
