Don Pavletich (Donald Stephen Pavletich) was born on July 13, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on April 20, 1957 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1963, his rookie year, he hit .208 with 5 home runs and 18 RBI. Pavletich played for the Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Don Pavletich's best season was 1966, when he hit for a .294 average.
