Don Murry (Donald Franklin Murry) in Taylorsville, Illinois. After going to high school at Elderton (WI) and Taylorsville (IL), Murry attended the University of Wisconsin. Murry made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Racine Legion. He played for the Chicago Bears and Racine Legion over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1925 was Don Murry's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
