Don Mincher (Donald Ray Mincher) was born on June 24, 1938 in Huntsville, Alabama. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1960 for the Washington Senators. In 1963, his rookie year, he hit .258 with 17 home runs and 42 RBI. Mincher played for the Washington Senators, Minnesota Twins, California Angels, Seattle Pilots, Oakland Athletics and Texas Rangers over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that Don Mincher's best season was 1967, when he slugged 25 home runs and knocked in 76 runs.
