Don Mccauley (Donald Frederick McCauley) was born on May 12, 1949 in Worcester, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Garden City (NY), Mccauley attended the University of North Carolina. Mccauley made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 13 year career.

Most people believe that 1972 was Don Mccauley's best year, as he ran for 675 yards and ran back a kickoff for a touchdown.
