Don Mccafferty (Donald William McCafferty) was born on March 12, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at James Ford Rhodes (Cleveland, OH), Mccafferty attended Ohio State University. Mccafferty made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
