Don Mason (Donald Stetson Mason) was born on December 20, 1944 in Boston, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1966 for the San Francisco Giants. In 1969, his rookie year, he hit .228 with 0 home runs and 13 RBI. Mason played for the San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres over the course of his 8 year career.
