Don Martin (Donald Joe Martin) was born on September 17, 1949 in Carrollton, Missouri. After going to high school at Carrollton (MO), Martin attended Yale University. Martin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the New England Patriots. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1975 was Don Martin's best year.
