Don Liddle

Born on May 25, 1925 in Mount Carmel, Illinois, Don Liddle (Donald Eugene Liddle) played for the Milwaukee Braves, New York Giants and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 4 year career. Liddle broke into the bigs on April 17, 1953 with the Milwaukee Braves, and put up a 3.08 ERA in 128.2 innings pitched in 1953, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Don Liddle's best season was 1953, when he posted a 3.08 ERA and struck out 63 batters.
