Don Kolloway (Donald Martin Kolloway) was born on August 4, 1918 in Posen, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 16, 1940 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1941, his rookie year, he hit .271 with 3 home runs and 24 RBI. Kolloway played for the Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that Don Kolloway's best season was 1942, when he knocked in 60 runs.
