Don Hultz (William Donald Hultz) was born on December 16, 1940 in Moss Point, Mississippi. After going to high school at Mobile County (Grand Bay, AL), Hultz attended the University of Southern Mississippi. Hultz made his professional debut in the NFL in 1963 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 12 year career.
Most people believe that 1963 was Don Hultz's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown and recovered 9 opponents fumbles.
