Don Herndon (Donald Eugene Herndon) was born on June 4, 1936. After going to high school at Hardee (Wauchula, FL), Herndon attended the University of Tampa. Herndon made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the New York Titans. He played for the New York Titans for his entire 1 year career.
