Don Greenwood (Donald Greenwood) was born on February 18, 1921 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at Southwest (Kansas City, MO), Greenwood attended the University of Illinois and the University of Missouri. Greenwood made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Cleveland Rams. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Cleveland Rams the entire time. Greenwood also played in the AAFC for 2 years, playing for the Cleveland Browns the entire time.

Most people believe that 1946 was Don Greenwood's best year, as he ran in 6 TDs.
