Don Ferrarese

Born on June 19, 1929 in Oakland, California, Don Ferrarese (Donald Hugh Ferrarese) played for the Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox, Philadelphia Phillies and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 8 year career. Ferrarese broke into the bigs on April 11, 1955 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 5.03 ERA in 102 innings pitched in 1956, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Don Ferrarese's best season was 1961, when he posted a 3.76 ERA and struck out 89 batters.
