Don Doll (Donald LeRoy Doll) was born on August 29, 1926 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Grant (North Sacramento, CA), Doll attended the University of Southern California. Doll made his professional debut in the NFL in 1949 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Rams and Washington Redskins over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1949 was Don Doll's best year, as he picked off 11 passes, ran back an interception for a touchdown and had 536 kick return yards.
