Don Coleman (Donald Alvin Coleman) was born on January 11, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio. After going to high school at St. John's (Toledo, OH), Coleman attended the University of Michigan. Coleman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1974 was Don Coleman's best year.
