Don Chelf (Donald Richard Chelf) was born on March 25, 1933 in West Liberty, Iowa. After going to high school at West Liberty (IA), Chelf attended the University of Iowa. Chelf made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills for his entire 2 year career.
