Don Burroughs (Donald E. Burroughs) was born on August 19, 1931 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Fillmore (CA), Burroughs attended Colorado State University, Pasadena City College and Ventura College. Burroughs made his professional debut in the NFL in 1955 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that 1960 was Don Burroughs's best year, as he picked off 9 passes.
