Don Buddin (Donald Thomas Buddin) was born on May 5, 1934 in Turbeville, South Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1956 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1956, his rookie year, he hit .239 with 5 home runs and 37 RBI. Buddin played for the Boston Red Sox, Houston Colt .45s and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Don Buddin's best season was 1959, when he knocked in 53 runs.
