Don Buckey (Donald Charles Buckey) was born on November 9, 1953 in Akron, Ohio. After going to high school at Kenmore (Akron, OH), Buckey attended North Carolina State University. Buckey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 1 year career.
