Don Brumm (Donald Dwain Brumm) was born on October 4, 1941 in Chicago Heights, Illinois. After going to high school at Hammond (IN), Brumm attended Purdue University. Brumm made his professional debut in the NFL in 1963 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1965 was Don Brumm's best year, as he recovered 3 opponents fumbles and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
