Don Bollweg

Don Bollweg (Donald Raymond Bollweg) was born on February 12, 1921 in Wheaton, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 28, 1950 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1953, his rookie year, he hit .297 with 6 home runs and 24 RBI. Bollweg played for the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Athletics and Kansas City Athletics over the course of his 5 year career.
