Born on July 3, 1963 in Inglewood, California, Don August (Donald Glenn August) played for the Milwaukee Brewers for his entire 4 year career. August broke into the bigs on June 2, 1988 with the Milwaukee Brewers, and put up a 3.09 ERA in 148.1 innings pitched in 1988, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Don August's best season was 1988, when he posted a 3.09 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 66 batters.
