Born on March 1, 1932 in Bronx, New York, Dom Zanni (Dominick Thomas Zanni) played for the San Francisco Giants, Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 7 year career. Zanni broke into the bigs on September 28, 1958 with the San Francisco Giants, and put up a 3.75 ERA in 86.1 innings pitched in 1962, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Dom Zanni's best season was 1962, when he posted a 3.75 ERA and struck out 66 batters.
