Dom Principe (Dominic Alfred Principe) was born on February 9, 1917 in Brockton, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Brockton (MA), Principe attended Fordham University. Principe made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the New York Giants. He played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the New York Giants the entire time. Principe also played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the Brooklyn Dodgers the entire time.

Most people believe that 1946 was Dom Principe's best year.
