Born on December 4, 1878 in Houghton, Michigan, Dolly Gray (William Denton Gray) played for the Washington Senators for his entire 3 year career. Gray broke into the bigs on April 13, 1909 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 3.59 ERA in 218 innings pitched in 1909, his rookie year.
