Dode Paskert (George Henry Paskert) was born on August 28, 1881 in Cleveland, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on September 21, 1907 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1908, his rookie year, he hit .243 with 1 home run and 36 RBI. Paskert played for the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 15 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Dode Paskert's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1912, when he stole 36 bases and hit for a .315 average. However, others believe that it was 1910, when he stole 51 bases and hit for a .300 average.
