Born on July 25, 1874 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, Doc Reisling (Frank Carl Reisling) played for the Brooklyn Superbas and Washington Senators over the course of his 4 year career. Reisling broke into the bigs on September 10, 1904 with the Brooklyn Superbas, and put up a 2.12 ERA in 51 innings pitched in 1904, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Doc Reisling's best season was 1910, when he posted a 2.54 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 57 batters.
