Doc Gorman (Otho Addison Gorman) was born on July 24, 1893 in Pawnee, Illinois. After going to high school at (Springfield, IL), Gorman attended Saint Louis University. Gorman made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Evansville Crimson Giants. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Evansville Crimson Giants the entire time. Gorman also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Evansville Crimson Giants the entire time.
