Doc Elliott (Wallace John Elliott) was born on April 6, 1900 in Youngstown, Ohio. After going to high school at Kiski Prep (Saltsburg, PA) and Rayen (Youngstown, OH), Elliott attended Lafayette College. Elliott made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Canton Bulldogs. He played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Canton Bulldogs, Cleveland Bulldogs and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 5 year NFL career.Elliott also played in the AFLG for 1 year, playing for the Philadelphia Quakers the entire time.
