Born on July 5, 1878 in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, Doc Amole (Morris George Amole) played for the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Senators over the course of his 2 year career. Amole broke into the bigs on August 19, 1897 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 2.57 ERA in 70 innings pitched in 1897, his rookie year.
