Doak Field (Richard Doak Field, Jr.) was born on October 8, 1958 in Burnet, Texas. After going to high school at Burnet (TX), Field attended Baylor University. Field made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
