Do the Falcons have any chance without Vick?

I don't see the Falcons winning more than 7 games in all honesty. No Falcons player caught more than 56 passes, and that was TE Alge Crumpler. No WR caught more than Michael Jenkins 39 balls. They also lack a pass rush, with Rod Coleman leading the way with six. With a rookie at LG in Justin Blaylock, Warrick Dunn coming back from injury and Jerious Norwood not being able to sneak up on teams, Atlanta is a team in turmoil.

They lack a pass rush? What are you on? If the starters remain healthy they will have one of the better pass rushing lines in the league.

You may be right that the Falcons will be a better team this year. First, no one will expect to eb good = no pressure. Second, the team can run a more conventional offense without Vick. Third, Vick is going to be in jail, is no distraction there. Fourth, they are playing in a really horrible division. TB has nothing, and the Panthers are going to be TERRIBLE. (Trust me, I saw them play yesterday in person - this team is going to be bad, real bad). ALso, the Saints may slump back to reality this year.

Frankly, I don't know how much of a chance they had WITH Vick, but I don't think losing him is a total disaster for the Falcons. Seriously, he's not all that good of a football player.

4-12, without Vick. With him, 7-9

The Falcons were a mediocre team with Vick. They will be mediocre without him. Remember, with Vick, they had the worst passing game in the league. Frankly, there is nowhere to go but up. I think the falcon's offense will actually be better this year, but they will still finish last in the horrible NFC South

Unless QB Harrington eliminates all those interceptions, the Falcons are not even going to be (8-8) -Kwass

Atlanta will finish 3-13. Remember, Harrington isn't mobile, and the Falcons have an incompetent offensive line. What are ya going to do?

Honestly, none of this (as in the backup QB position) would've happened if the Falcons had looked at the FA market.

If they had kept Matt Schaub around they would be a lot better off. Joey Harrington will continue to be what he was in Detroit, the worst starting quarterback in the NFL.

Vick being out is a blow that the Falcons will suffer from for the next 4 years yes 4 years.

Now my Saints will have a chance of beating the Falcons without Vick at quarterback. Seems like he had a penchant for beating the Saints.

no way, the Falcons pretty much invested everything they had into Vick. I'm sure they'll find someway to get some of the sign-on bonus money back....no more than 7 wins!

Sorry Trish, but with Vick in jail and their best backup QB in Houston, the Falcons won't take flight this season. In fact... the team's gone to the dogs! ;)
