Do You Hear that Giant Sucking Sound?

Once, Ross Perot stated that people will soon hearing a giant sucking sound coming from Mexico. This never occured, however, today, a person can hear a giant sucking sound. . .coming from the ballpark that the Philadelphia Phillies are currently playing in.
The Phils are 35-41 for the season. They are currently on a 6 game losing streak. They have lost 14 of their last 17 contests. The biggest hits the Phils have had recently has occurred via the Brett Myers alleged wife beating and disasterous response to it.
To make matters worse, manager Cholly Manuel has openly admitted that he does not know what to do to change things. GM Pat Gillick has given ole Cholly support and has said that the Phils are still buyers and not sellers, as the trading deadline approaches.
Personally, it is the time to completely blow up the team and start over from scratch. Ryan Howard and Chase Utley should be the building blocks for this rebuilding. Everyone else is tradable. Players that should be traded, either by the trading deadline of July 31st or during the offseason includes: Bobby Abreu, Pat Burrell, Tom Gordon, Corey Lidle, Brett Myers.
It has been 23 years since a Philadelphia sports team won a championship. The Phils will NOT be the next team to win it either.
