Oregon Ducks phenom, and Heisman candidate at QB, Dennis Dixon, was severely injured moments ago, and will not return to the Ducks game against Arizona tonight. Dixon suffered a twisted knee (OUCH, those really hurt). Dixon will probably be out for weeks, which will take him out of the Heisman race, and will definitely affect the current number 2 team in the Nation.
The twist was so bad that he was nearly in tears along the sidelines, and his father, Dennis Dixon Sr., came out onto the sidelines from the stands to see him. I would much rather talk about his, and his Oregon Ducks' future (meaning the next few weeks), then talk about Bonds, and A-Rod, so leave any comments about Dixon here. Oh, and this may not be as bad as a blow to the head, or a few other severe injuries, but please pray for Dixon, and his family. Sometimes, small injuries like a twisted knee can lead to bigger problems, and can eventually end a guy's career. I hate seeing guys like him going down, and the amount of knee injuries seems to go up every year (and they suck, I twisted my knee last year, and missed half the Football season, and it still affects me).
Anyway, good luck to you Dennis, and let it heal this time before you go back out there.
