Dion James (Dion James) was born on November 9, 1962 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 16, 1983 for the Milwaukee Brewers. In 1984, his rookie year, he hit .295 with 1 home run and 30 RBI. James played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians and New York Yankees over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that Dion James's best season was 1987, when he hit for a .312 average and knocked in 61 runs.
