Diomedes Olivo

Born on January 22, 1919 in Guayubin, Monte Cristi (Dominican Republic), Diomedes Olivo (Diomedes Antonio (Maldonado) Olivo) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 3 year career. Olivo broke into the bigs on September 5, 1960 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 2.77 ERA in 84.1 innings pitched in 1962, his rookie year.
