Dinty Moore (Walter Stanley Moore) was born on September 30, 1903 in New York, New York. After going to high school at Irving Prep (Tarrytown, NY), Moore attended Lafayette College. Moore made his professional debut in the NFL in 1927 with the Pottsville Maroons. He played for the Pottsville Maroons for his entire 1 year career.
